I never realized until I had to look for these books just how small the number "two thousand" is. Honestly, I bent the rules a little bit and found books with fewer than five thousand ratings.
1. The Princetta - This book has a special place in my heart because it was one of the first books I ever bought for myself. I found it in Barnes & Noble, loved the cover, read the summary, and purchased it with my own hard-earned money. I went home, read it, and absolutely loved it. It was the beginning of wanting to make reading into something more.
2. The Liberal Redneck Manifesto - I was on break one day from class, browsing the Barnes & Noble shelves, and I saw this book. I had seen the Liberal Redneck YouTube videos so I figured I would give the book a shot. I started reading it and I thought it was so hilariously awesome that I paid full price for it.
3. Spellfall - This was the first fantasy book I can remember reading. It kickstarted my love for the YA genre, and for fantasy. Before that, I had just read historical fiction for school, but this was one of the first I read because I wanted to. Such a good book.
4. Moccasin Trail - One of those aforementioned historical fiction books I read for school. This book is still one of my all-time favorite books. So amazing.
5. The Dark Light - I literally had a poster for this book hanging up in my room for years because I loved it so much (and because the author was kind enough to send it to me).
6. While He Was Away - I was honestly surprised by how few ratings this book had, I thought it was more popular. I remember loving it, but skipping some boring parts. All and all, an easy read.
7. Dance of Thieves - Another book I picked up from Barnes & Noble. I read this one recently, and I can't believe it isn't more popular. SUCH a good book, and I can't wait for the sequel.
8. This Moral Coil - Yet another Barnes & Noble book. This is such an amazing book, so complex and interesting, I cannot believe there isn't more hype for it. There are so many plot twists and thrilling scenes. One of my all-time favorites.
9. The End Games - I honestly don't really remember much about this book, but apparently I loved it. It's been years since I read it so I don't remember much.
10. Inside - I kind of cheated with this one. This book is a compilation of the two books in the Inside duology, but I'm sure the individual books have more ratings than this one. Oh well, moving on. Maria V. Snyder is one of my all-time favorite authors and this dystopian novel is different than her normal fantasy, but man was it amazing.
I'm still trying to figure out how I want to format these posts but here's my first try.
