Kick-Butt Characters Blog Hop

I always think that a good cast of characters is crucial to a book.  And no author writes good casts like Maria V. Snyder.  She is one of my favorite authors ever.  She has published 9 books, and out of all of them I've read 5 and LOVED them.  She never disappoints with her characters and always has a kick-ass female character and a super-sexy, swoon-worthy, kick-ass male character that you can't help falling in love with and dreaming about at night.

This great hop is hosted by Damaris @ Good Choice Reading and Kathy @ I Am A Reader, Not A Writer. Stop by and follow them!! :)

  1. Pretty much any dystopian, I guess. Saba from Blood Red Road is at the top, though.

Thanks for the giveaway...I *love* Maria V. Snyder!!! I've read everything except this series.

  4. Ok so I saw on A Cupcake and a Latte's giveaway that you favored Yelena. And I was so going to put her. But I just finished Poison Study last night and didn't think I should put her down because I wasn't sure if I was going to finish the series. But I loved her, and Valek. (Swoon.) I have skimmed through your blog and am so glad I found you!

Anyway I love Max from Maximum Ride and Cammie from the Gallagher Girls series. And Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird is a kick butt male character, but not in such a literal way.

  20. I really loved Maggie Mae from Shifting by Bethany Wiggins. I loved how matter-of-factly she looked at everything. Like she knew that her life sucked but she didn't get all angsty over it, she just plowed through, looking forward to the future where she would finally have the power to change it. I loved the book too (if you haven't read it, you really should!)
